Danny R. Linthicum, 60, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 surrounded by his family and friends.
Born, March 24, 1950 in Bloomington, he was the son of Vilas and Violet (Allen) Linthicum.
Danny was the co-owner of Handy Masonry for 41 years. He was a member of the AMVETS Post #2000, and Woodhaven Christian Church.
Danny was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed four wheeler riding, hunting and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Lois “LoLo” Linthicum, two daughters, Angel Stevens and her husband Al Poole of Greene County, Paula “Sissy” Stillions of Lexington, KY, daughter-in-law, Kim (Potter) Achors and her husband Jeff of Bloomington, two brothers, Bill Linthicum and his wife Phyllis of Phoenix, AZ, Grover Linthicum and his wife Teddie of Bloomington, five grandchildren, Tyler Potter, Sawyer Potter, Amber Clarke, Daniel Collins, Shandie Fiscus and one great-granddaughter, Alexis Nalley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jamie J. Potter (1996).
Services will be 10:00am Saturday, April 10, 2010 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington, with Pastor Steve Baker officiating.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Friday at The Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodhaven Christian Church 3345 S. Leonard Springs Rd. Bloomington, IN 47403 or to the American Cancer Society.

I can't begin to tell you how sad I am about Danny's passing. He was one of the best & most unselfish people I have ever known. He loved you & the kids above all else. I will never forget him.
