Mary Ellen (Durnil) Rush Mary Ellen (Durnil) Rush, 86, 0f Bloomington, died on Tuesday June 29, 2010 at Bloomington Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born March 8, 1924 in Orleans, Indiana and was the daughter of Raymond and Stella (Dillinger) Durnil. Mary Ellen married Ross F. Rush on August 16, 1938 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana and he preceded her in death in 2003. She worked for 35 years at R.C.A. and was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, American Legion Burton Woolery Post #18 and had several card groups that she played with through the years. She is survived by three daughters, Sue Whitaker, Judy Rader and husband Jim and Trudy Litz and husband Mark all of Bloomington. She is also survived by five grandchildren Tomi Sue Whitaker, Jimmy Livingston, Mark Livingston, Mandy Floyd (Nathan), and Jayme Christman (Mike), seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Ross F. Rush, grandson Trent R. Whitaker and brother and sister-in-law Dale and Garnet (Truesdel) Durnil. Visitation for Mary Ellen will be Thursday July 1, 2010 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington from 4-8 pm and again on Friday from 10am until service time at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church. Services will be 11:00 am Friday July 2, 2010 at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church with Tom Ellsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
