Robert F. Drake Robert F. Drake, 83 of Ellettsville, passed away on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Robert was born on July 16, 1928 in Bloomington and was the son of Jesse and Mable (Arthur) Drake. Robert retired from RCA after 30 years, was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Assembly Church and loved to garden, work with his flowers and bird watch. Robert is survived by two sons, Steve Drake (Faye) of Bloomington and Danny Drake of Wisconsin, five grandchildren, Tim Drake (Michele), Tammy Drake (Scott), Melinda Hobbs (Kyle), Peggy Rogers (Joe), and Lisa Hein (Scott), nine great grandchildren Andrew and Terry Ketcham, Kylee and Davis Hobbs, Justin Longfellow, Joe Drake, Kristen, Kasey and Kayla Rogers and one great great granddaughter Vada Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Betty Jean Drake on August 5, 2011, his parents, one infant son Timothy Edward Drake, daughter-in-law Mary Drake and 17 brothers and sisters. Services will 10am Saturday February 18th with Pastor Michael Douglas officiating at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington. Visitation for Robert will be from 4-8pm Friday February 17th at The Funeral Chapel.

So sorry to hear of Bob's death. Thinking of the family at this time, as they have been through so much lately. Your family is in my prayers. May God give you all peace of mind and comfort in knowing that he is together again with his loving wife, Betty. God bless you all.
