Very sorry to know John has passed away. We were good friends, part of the South Lincoln St. neighborhood in our early teen years. We continued to be close friends until life, and careers took us our separate ways. Rest in Peace, "Red", you were one of a kind, and one I will never forget.

You were a very good son to him and I know he appreciated all you did for him. May he rest in peace.

To my dear friend John,
I hope you knew how much I valued our friendship. We formed a bond while learning how to chase that little white ball over several courses. You were a kind and loving man. I will say a pray for your boys to find peace during this sorrowful time. RIP dear friend.

It is with my deepest sympathies that I send my condolences on the death of my long time friend John. I was so sorry to hear that he died, but I know that at least his suffering is finally over. I remember, not to long ago, John & I played in the band together at Bloomington High School. We both lived in Highland Village & were the best of friends. The many good times that we shared together will never be forgotten. Please pass on my sympathies to John's 2 sons who I have never met, but would like to one day. I know this is a sorrowful time for you now, as it is for me. I will never forget John & the joy he brought in my life of being his friend. May Gods blessing be with you all.
In Sincere Friendship,
Dan Emerick
