Harold Joseph "Joe" Gore

Harold Joseph “Joe” Gore, 65 of Bloomington, passed away on June 1, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Joe was a Law Clerk for the 9th Circuit Court and was a retired Employment Law Attorney. He was a national traveler and photographer. He had owned the Nashville Gallery by the Green and was formerly President of the Nashville Merchants Association. A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date.

Joe was a year ahead of Ken and myself at IU. He's one of the guys I looked forward to seeing when we had our reunions each year. And he's responsible for my having started at least a couple of the recreations I still try to stay involved in 45 years later. But I probably most remember him for his readiness to discuss almost any topic, any time, any place. I will miss those discussions.

Joe was a senior classman in our Residence Scholar Program at IU, a friend and an integral part of my memories of those years.

WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. DID NOT KNOW IF YOU KNEW THAT HAMMER AND I GOT MARRIED JUNE 2010 AND HE PASSED AWAY THIS YEAR ON EASTER SUNDAY. SO THIS SEEMS TO BE A BAD YEAR HAVE HAD TO MANY FRIENDS PASS.
