Neva G. (Strain) Russell, 75, of Bloomington passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born December 25, 1936 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Roy and Bessie (Wright) Koontz. Neva was a member of the Family Life and Worship Center. Survivors include three daughters, Treva Zwissler (William), Karen Kronenberger (Daren), Renee Jordan (Todd) one son, David Kent Russell (Jennie) all of Bloomington, five grandchildren, Zachary King, Seth King, Megan Kronenberger, Devan Kronenberger, Brenton Barrrow and one brother, Robert E. Strain (Barbara) of Bloomington. Neva was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, David E. Russell, her granddaughter, Whitney Barrow, two brothers, Edward and Raymond Strain, one sister, Treva Dayle Strain and her parents. Services will be 10:30am Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Family Life and Worship Center 8449 North Fox Hollow Rd. in Bloomington. Reverend Tracy Noel will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8pm Sunday at the Church. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington is handling the arrangements.
