Virtue Corlett V. Virtue Corlett, 94, of Bloomington, died on Saturday at her residence. She was born February 11, 1915 in Solsberry and was the daughter of William Floyd and Nila (Cox) Christy. Virtue was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star in Solsberry, Stanford Club, she volunteered at the Older American Center, she was an avid bowler and loved to fish. Survivors include her daughter Sue Lindsey (Jack) of Solsberry, two sons, Jack Corlett (Joanne) of Shelbyville and Jim Corlett of Solsberry. She is also survived by one sister Dot Freeman of Spencer and 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Virtue was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Corlett, one sister Jean Koontz, two brothers, Billy Christy and Romey Christy and five grandsons, Rick Corlett, Randy Corlett, Bill Corlett, Jimmy Lee Corlett and Jeff Lindsey. Visitation will be held on Tuesday form 11am until 1pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell, Deckard and Costin, 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington. Graveside services will follow at 1:30pm on Tuesday at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society

Sue, I am so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing.She was a great lady who I had the honor of only knowing for a short time.I really enjoyed our visits. She always had a story to tell. She was very proud of her family, and always talked about them with pride and a big smile. Your in my prayers.
